Liz Oliver, Rethinking Change

Liz got in touch in 2019. She was looking for help with branding for her new Change Management business, Rethinking Change. Liz already had some ideas, so we met in my studio one sunny day over a cup of tea. She sketched out her thoughts and explained she wanted something that represented the nature of change: how it ebbed and flowed into our lives as predictably as the tides. I did some sketches of my own, and together we arrived at something we were both happy with. I recreated the drawings for her in Adobe Illustrator, using colours and fonts that matched Liz’s website. The result was a logo and colour scheme that could be applied across the website, stationery and PowerPoint templates.

As well as starting her new business, Liz had been busy writing a book called The Change Equation, a comprehensive work packed full of useful insights. The book deals with the psychology of change and how we might react or respond to life’s challenges. It contains some practical exercises that can help us deal with any major life-change we might experience. Liz sent me her finished manuscript in Word, I formatted it in Adobe InDesign and gave it a proofread. Then all we needed was a cover! Once again, Liz had some ideas which we talked over at length until we arrived at a result we were both happy with. You can read the finished book here.
